Notes: In Elizabeth's will dated February 4, 1887she named her living sons Tom and Ben and daughters Margaret and Ellen. She mentions having deadsons . Her Will is recorded in Madison County, IL -courthouse(Edwardsville, I L) "I, Elizabeth Pritchett, of the Township of St. Jacob, County ofMa dison, State of Illinois, widow of John Pritchett deceased, being ofsou nd mind and memory, declare this to be my last will and testament. As to my worldly Estate and all my property, real, personal andmi xed, of which I shall died seized and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise, bequeath and disposethere of in manner following to wit: My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executor hereinafter named be paid out of my estate I dispose asfollows : I give and bequeath to my living sons Tom and Ben on dollareach and a lso to the heirs of my dead sons one dollar to each family;that is to s ay that they shall have the dollar which their father wouldhave receive d had he been alive. My daughter Margaret who has taken care of me during the last year sof my life shall receive two thirds of all the balance of my estate. To my daughter Ellen Trout I give and bequeath the other third oft he residue of my estate. I appoint my neighbor Jacob Leder seur as my testamentary executor ,dispensing him with giving the usual security or bond according to law .
